Hello folks! im lying on my cosy bed using my bro's laptop to blog! MUAHAHAH!! awesome life im having rite now man!! :DDD anyway, i just came back from Temasek Polytechnic Band Concert -
Avec L'expression II: A Festive Prelude
They played pieces which im quite familiar with.. esp Inn Of The Sixth Happiness and Abba Gold... erm, their concert was quite under my expectations la.. but ya cant say much here, if not i will get bashed up by tp ppl -.-
lol, the only two comments i have: Their horns section is not bad, the 1st alto sax player's projection is gd.. hahahaha.. okay.. personal opinions, no offence or anything la.. so ya...oh! their morning madness wad quite interesting with the skit.. dam entertaining and cool! :D
oh btw, i went with CHERYL LIM that bitch.. i just realised its dam fun to go watch band concert with her.. cuz about every single minute, we comment abt the band's playing.. either that or we talk abt whos handsome or pretty.. whos pro and which section blah blah blah.. esp durng the pieces which we know.. and ya.. i think the ppl sitting arnd us were quite irritated? hahaa.. aiyaa.. band freaks not GEEKS :D hahahaaa... anyway, theres this male flautist with super uber long hair.. hahaha.. according to jonathan whos from the tpt section of tp band (ex-tkband friend), he said tat hes abt twenty plus? well, apparently the age range is kinda big in a poly band.. jon mentioned sth quite funny.. said sth lik of cuz old la, some of them JC drop out then go NS then work blah blah blah before gg to poly -.- omgggg.. thats lik hell lot of time wasted can?? gahhh.. i hope i can do well for As and go into the faculty i want :(
okay.. im looking forward to TJCSB FIESTA 2008, but somehow im scared we arent ready enuff for the day itself and uphold our reputation.. but heyhey, i believe we can do it!!!!!! GO SAXES!! :DD im sure my section can do well.. oh.. theres this DSA sax player coming next mon to practise with us.. hope that hes gd if not gg to waste a lot of time to train him? -.- and ya, our fiesta repertoire is kinda taxing! esp with pieces lik beautiful oregon and danza sinfonica for woodwinds.. omg la.. articulation and running notes blah blah blah.. gahhhh!!! :D
okay i sound lik a fucking band freak.. anyway. i just talked to my mahjong kakis on msn.. stupid verydirty(BX) jie du for this week, then said that she wanna mj next mon.. omfg? that is so not jie du can?? hahahaaa.. bunch of DU GUIS!!!!! okayyy.. i cant wait to see them once again!! monday another mahjong session! MUAHAHAHAHHA :D
